‘Tis the season for ghosts and assorted spookery, right? At least they’ll be well-read phantoms.
After reading this, I clicked the “Haunted Libraries in the Northeast” link at the bottom to see if we had any near us in Connecticut. At the Bridgeport Public Library, a garage door opened mysteriously three times during the night in 2006, causing the alarm to go off. While a policeman inspected the situation, he heard someone “turning pages” on the 6th floor.
