Darien Library: Tumblrarians! Aspiring tumblrarians! Librarians on tumblr who do not yet identify as tumblrarians! →
Rachel and I are leading a webinar Wednesday, November 14 from 3-4 PM EST entitled “Using Tumblr to Support Library Programming.”
You do not need to be a member of ALA to register, although you will need to create a log in. You can do so here. Scroll down to November 14, 2012.
I might have missed it, but I don’t suppose there’s a way to not pay the $25 registration fee? This looks really interesting, but I don’t think I can justify spending the money.
This is a good question and something I would like to address. I know it is a huge stinker that there is a cost to attend the webinar, but it is because it is being hosted by the lovely grant-funded Programming Librarian. They have recently decided to start charging for some of their webinars in order to defray some of their costs. So you could look at it is as going to a good cause?
I also urge anyone who would like to attend but cannot afford it to get in contact with me. I can’t make any promises, but Rachel and I are brainstorming.
