Join the Chicago Letter Writer’s Alliance for a letter writing social at the Forest Park Library on Saturday, August 11th at 1pm. Lots of typewriters and mail art supplies will be on hand, allowing you to transform text into a treasured object. Write a letter to a far off relative, send a love note to your sweetheart, or ship a snail mail thank you note to your boss. When was the last time you took five minutes to write someone a letter?
